Vaccination Rate Hits 95% In 300 Days Campaign

Sierra Leone has vaccinated an estimated 95 percent of children who had never previously received a vaccine, marking one of the most significant milestones yet in the Government's 300 Days Campaign to reach zero-dose children across the country.

The latest data from the Ministry of Health show that approximately 95 percent of the estimated 9,000 zero-dose children identified at the start of the campaign have now been reached.

Health officials credit the result to community health workers, district health management teams and partners who took vaccines directly into hard-to-reach communities.
